Detailed Description:

There are many free webmail services you can sign up to for free. The most popular are Yahoo Webmail, Hotmail, AIM Webmail, and Gmail, there are also many others like Netscape mail. These services now provide the ability to block spam or block specific senders so you will not receive their spam. (Or simply if you do not want someone emailing you).

When using Yahoo mail, simply click "mail options", then click "block senders".

When using AIM mail, simply click the settings option then go to "spam controls". You will see various options for controlling who sends you mail.

On Hotmail, simply go your options, then choose mail, and then go to the junk email protection options.

This site provides a list of interesting subjects, tips, and tricks. Although it is mostly computer tips, there are also tips and tricks related to various other helpful topics besides just computers. If you have an important tip that you think should be listed, feel free to post it below. Although I still take tips via email, I often scan and review posts on the page below and prefer that method.
