Detailed Description:

The safety browser is actually a malware worm and it arrives via a "spim", which is basically spam delivered via instant messenger. This virus installs inself through Yahoo instant messenger, and it appears that both AIM instant messenger and MSN messenger are both unaffected, it is only delivered from the Yahoo messenger. This virus or spyware installs a web browser on your computer, called the "safety browser". Make sure you do not use or open this icon if you find it on your pc! It is NOT Internet Explorer. It will have the IE icon and attempt to fool you into using this. This malware worm will self send itself to others in your Yahoo messenger list in hopes of affecting your friends also. You can still use your other web browsers fine, and you can delete this malware by just right clicking the icon and viewing its file name and location, then add it to your recycle bin. This safety browser is not safe, and it will override your homepage just as a browser hijacker would do.
