Detailed Description:

The "Nyxem Worm" or "Virus" is a worm that will send mass emails from your computer to help spread itself, and is most likely how you received it. Do not run these strange emails attachments that you receive, it would have had many different things on the subject line, like video or women related topics that are too many to list here. The Nyxem worm will turn off security software and will delete certain files from your computer. It will also embed itself in the registry and will begin sending out emails to everyone in your address book trying to give them the virus also. You can look to remove several files which are part of this, if you want to manually remove the nyxem worm. Look for a file named blackworm.exe, win32.com, and win.exe. These 3 files will be in your windows and system32 folders. You also need to search your registry startup keys as it uses random names for other files that are also part of the nyxem worm, and these must also be deleted. Many other garbage files, like videos and screensavers are also created and copied, so you may want to use a virus remover program to eliminate all this garbage. screensavers are also added, so you may want to use a virus remover program to eliminate all this garbage.
