Detailed Description:

Windows authority or permission errors can occur if you are running a program that was sent via email or from a different computer. You may get the following error message - "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them." This error window on XP, Vista, etc., is caused because you have to give it access to run on your system. Using Windows Explorer, look at the properties of your downloaded file. You will also see a dialog box providing an "unblock" option. Choose this option and this will allow you to run the program without getting the permissions error again.
