I have some photos on my computer (windows computer, not a mac). I want to copy them to my iphone. I know I can email them to the iphone but I don't want to do that, I want to copy them in bulk as I have 100s of total photos and videos to copy.

Answer:

You can certainly copy all photos and videos at once, and you can do this by cutting and pasting from your iphone. You do have to open itunes but not actually use it. If you don't have itunes you should install it of course (itunes is free). Open itunes, then connect your iphone to the computer with the usb chord. Now, open windows explorer after your iphone has already been recognized in itunes. Your iphone will now simply appear just like a hard drive and you can cut and paste all your photos and videos both from your iphone to your hard drive on your computer. You don't even need to use itunes for this, you just have to have it open so the iphone can be recognized in your windows explorer. Note that this is also the easiest way to free up space on your iphone as you dont need to store all photos and videos on the iphone, and its smart to have a backup anyways in case you ever lose your iphone. Remember to backup!
