Detailed Description:

If you have recently installed a new video card, and the Battlefield 2 game will not load, there are several things you can try to fix the problem. If the "splash screen" shows, then the program just shuts down without starting or loading, try the following fix: Go to C drive - Documents and Settings - - My Documents - Battlefield 2. Now delete everything in that folder, you should see 3 folders listed there. (Just add them to your recycle bin, as you can always put them back if you want). After these are deleted, go and restart your Battlefield 2 again, now it should reload fine. Of course no where on there site do they tell you this in their FAQ, but this was discovered by trial and error :-)
