Detailed Description:

There are many places to get free music for your "Ipod" or computer. Although many people download and use ITunes to view music and buy them (most are around 99 cents per song), there are also alot of other alternatives to get music free. The music companies have been cracking down on what is called P2P services, which are software programs like Limewire or Emule, although these are also very good for up and coming artists to get their MP3 files out to the public, and these types of music are free to download. The music companies dont like it because many top 40 songs and copyrighted songs are also available there to download. Everyone has also heard of Kazaa, a very popular downloading software, but I think Emule and Limewire are better, but thats just my personal opinion, and I would recommend just doing a google or yahoo search to download these 2 programs. You can also download run both at the same time, so I recommend having these 2 programs along with ITunes, and then you will be set. MP3 files will run fine on an Ipod, so any MP3 file can easily be downloaded and copied to your Ipod using the ITunes software. Remember too that any old CDs you have laying around are good, since you can "rip" the songs from your old CDs and make MP3 files out of them! Dont forget that, as many people have old CDs in boxes they dont use anymore, yet would like to have those MP3 files on their Ipods. You can use ITunes or Winamp to rip songs from the CD to your pc, and then easily copy it to your Ipod. These P2P services are also very good for downloading almost any type of video you are looking for (the free videos has made these extrememly popular, as you can really download almost ANYTHING you are looking for).
