Detailed Description:

First off, internet cookies are basically written on your computer when you visit some websites. Now some good things come from cookies, this is how sometimes you do not have to enter your password again when you visit a website, it knows who you are because the information is on your computer in a cookie, and it saves you the trouble. This is also how some shopping sites save your shopping cart information for when you come back. So there is some good things with web cookies, but there is also alot of bad things. Internet cookies can also be used to track your browser viewing habits, and that way the websites can target specific advertisements to you. It is a way for websites to "identify" you, which I personally do not like. All web browsers have options on the toolbar that allow you to go through and delete all stored cookies, but it is very tedious to be doing this every 15 minutes. A very good disk cleanup software that cleans these types of things is The Complete Cleanup, it has been around for many years and you can download it here.
