AOL email offers you the ability to check your email from anywhere at anytime, simply by opening a web browser. Of course you can use their client email by running the AOL software, but many times you may be on the road or away from your computer. Simply go to the www.aol.com website from any web browser, look for the option that says "mail" or "email", the text may change as they update the site and it currently states "read or write email" in the upper right hand side of the page. Click this, enter your user id and password, then it will be exactly the same as reading your aol email with the client software.
You can also read your aol email from a cell phone! Just go to aolmobile.aol.com to find out more information on this, there is also information on sending text messages from your phone and using aol IM on your cell phone or from any browser.
