Detailed Description:

Although Sagevo has been called a worm, virus, botworm, etc, it is really all the same and there do not appear to be multiple versions. Either way, it is something that you need to get cleaned up. This virus has been given the name W32.Sagevo. First off, you need to be aware that this virus will copy itself into the svchost.exe name ina folder called "wins", and will be within your windows path. This file must be removed. This worm will attempt to download other files also, most notably the nl.exe worm called "backdoor worm". You will have various different problems on your pc if you have this, as it does many other things besides downloading files, as it attempts to spread from your computer to others, and will also stop your computers shared access service using the net stop command. It is recommended that you use your virus checker to eliminate this due to the complexity involved. This has also been given the name "big yellow" by others, so you may hear it referrred to as the "big yellow virus".
