 Government Wants To Monitor Your Phone Calls
Monitors both emails and international calls....
I'm sure many will have a big problem with the government monitoring more and more stuff like this, but the way I see it is if you have nothing to hide, then who really cares? I'll all for it as long as it means more security, and they don't abuse their monitoring on this. The bottom line is we have to track terrorists and do whatever we can, and I have no problem if they think this makes their job better.

It astounding that people don't see the intrusion into our private lives that monitering our phones would allow. So what you say, I don't have nothen to hide! How about "Less Taxes" that sounds good to most people put it's not something the goverment wants to hear. How about "less goverment regulation" Regulation is what the government thrives on. If you are out spoken about any of the above or lots of other government duties whos to say you aren't a terrorist as defined by the government?? In other words who decides the definitions of there inquireies?? THEY DO...
Which political group is listening, Demo..Repub...Green..
Anyone of those political parties would want to know who is voting for who.. if you aren't for them you are the enemy!

I agree, it is getting to the point where they monitor everything and thats justnot the way it should be. Phones, email, camera's on street corners.... is there going to be a cam in my home next?

You have to look at it also from the security point of view, we can't have another 911 attack. I agree also you can't be too intrusive but there has to be a trade off somewhere

The trade off is that we pay very high taxes for Government and military and many super secret programs to spy on THEM, not us here in America. If they had been doing the job we pay them to do, 911 wouldn't have happened. Now it seems they need to spy on anyone they want to without cause. What seperates us from other countries is our freedom from goverment intrusion. If u give that up, what have we got left?? If u will give up any part of your freedom they will find a way to take it all. Absolute power, corrupts ablosutely.

Bush ain't no angel but he wan't around the white house when the Fanatic freaks began planning and caring out their attack against a free people. They can't stand us because we aren't beholding to their fanatical beliefs. OH, Bill C. was in office when they started their bombings. He also was sitting up there when all those men women, CHILDREN and NEWBORNS were fried by the ATF at Waco tx. because he was a religious fanatic?? For some reason that escapes me the fanatical threat from our sworn enimies were allowd to go move right in good ole USA and set up shop and learn to fly while we worried about David Coresh (sp) Now that the current president has to deal with the aftermath of Clintons priorities and he gets the blame. Ya, we will be just fine :~

Thats what has made the U.S. such a great country, the fact that GOV is NOT involved in everything. Now we just need the gov to stop wasting so much money and start reducing the deficit. You don't reducing the deficit by taxing and taking everyones money, you reduce it by NOT having big gov and lowering expenses on stupid projects. Then jobs will be created and the U.S. will boom again.
