Honey includes antiobiotics and other chemicals

China honey "rarely" labeled as "Made in China".
Might as well hide the fact their food is tainted and avoid paying tariffs at the same time....

If you eat honey (most do even if you don't buy it, because its in so many foods today) then this article I found is a "must read" article. I know someone who raises bees and he has told me for years that honey was tainted and full of medications, and has told me not to eat honey unless it's organic honey made in the U.S. I never quite believed him until I read the article above. I have known for years to avoid chinese food (yes I check all packages to make sure its not food from china). Not only does the U.S. have much stricter food regulations, but China actually uses BANNED medications that seep into their food system, as if just having medications in it wasn't already bad enough. Even when I buy something as simple as vodka, I look at the bottle to make sure it is U.S. vodka, and not imported. Nothing like paying more for imported products and then having the quality contain all kinds of garbage that we are eating without even knowing it. People that raise bees often use antibiotics and other medications to help the bees survive and help them produce more honey, these substances then end up in your honey. China is even going out of their way to HIDE the fact that it's from China. Not only is this avoiding paying taxes to the U.S., but it's also hiding the fact that they have tainted food and you cannot tell where the food is now coming from. The crazy thing is this is exactly what I was being told long before I ever read this article, so hopefully this helps make other aware of this, as you are what you eat. (Another thing I was warned about, which isn't even in this article, is that many bee owners just feed their bees sugar water. That way the bees don't even extract the sugars from flowers or plants, they simply recirculate "processed" sugar as honey.)
