Cell phone radiation and the "unknowns"
Error to the side of caution and protect yourself....

Many articles are now being published about cell phones and the radiation they put out. Some say it's dangerous, and some say it isn't dangerous, but one thing that is 100% sure is that they all DO put out radiation. There article here has an interesting writeup on it, and my theory on this is you SHOULD be cautious when there are so many unknowns about this, especially when the unknown involves "radiation" and your "head". To me this is something that I can easily fix by using speaker phone and using the chord to keep the phone away from my head. For something that is so simple to solve, where the trade off can be quite drastic, I prefer to error to the side of caution. Anyone that is holding the phone to their ear apparently doesn't mind gambling.

I agree that anything that involves cancer cannot be taken lightly. Cancer is something that can take a long time to develop also so maybe not enough radiation has been tested yet over the years from phones. It was interesting too that it says even 5/8 inch away makes a difference, in that case speaker phone or headset should certainly be used to elminate the threat.
